Share with the new owners the importance of grooming. Invite them over to observe a grooming session. Show them the type of brushes to use for their breed, recommend a shampoo, or if they are not up for doing their own grooming put them in touch with a local grooming facility that you trust. All new owners should be encouraged to regularly brush their dogs, dogs love the one on one attention.
