Dogs In The Sporting Group

The Clumber Spaniel has a long and low body; they may not be as speedy as other sporting dogs; however they make up for it with their endurance.  Did you know that the Clumber Spaniel was one of the nine original breeds registered by the American Kennel Club?  The Clumber Spaniel is a mute hunter which allows him to get very close to his prey.  The American Kennel Club recognized the Clumber Spaniel in 1884.
