Things to Consider (cont.)


  1. Know your breed's health risks - Heart disease, epilepsy, reproductive concerns, cancers, hip dysplasia, bloat just to name a few. Whenever you notice changes (that go on for more than a few days) in your dog's behavior or daily routine, don't ignore it; something may be wrong. Check with your veterinarian or contact your breeder; both are good sources for help with health risks.
