Plinlimmon

American theater fans back in the mid 1880's where intrigued by a giant dog breed, the Saint Bernard.  The dog was, Plinlimmon; owned by an actor, J. K. Emmet who showed him in theaters throughout America.  Plinlimmon was born in Liverpool, England on June 29, 1883, bred by Mr. Thomas Hall.  He was shown and won dogs shows in 1884; and in 1885 was named Best Saint Bernard.
