Some Interesting Facts About Dogs

During the Middle Ages, dogs like the Mastiffs and Great Danes were outfitted with armor.  They were used to help protect caravans.  Long before this dogs were used in battle; Egyptian warriors are depicted with fierce dogs straining on leads, Assyrian Temples in Iraq show Mastiff with spiked collars, the Legions of Rome used Mastiffs and Molassian Hounds in battle, even Attila The Hun used larged dogs to surround his encampments for protection.
