More On Novartis Animal Health Plant

You should also know that not only animal but human health medications are manufactured at the Novartis Animal Health Plant in Lincoln, Nebraska.  On January 8, 2012, Novartis Consumer Health issued a recall warning to consumers that chipped or broken pills may be found in the following products:

• Bufferin
• Excedrin
• Gas-X Prevention
• NoDoz

Consumers have also complained about tablet mix-ups and foreign object in bottles.  The FDA is aware of nearly 1400 consumer complaints that Novartis did not respond to or did not forward the information to regulators.  Some of these complaints date back to 2009.
