Socializing your puppy or dog is very important. They need to learn how to interact with other dogs and people. This is something you want to begin right from the start. Daily walks allow them to see other people and dogs. Some people like to go to dog parks; I am not a fan of dog parks but that is a personal preference. Many school districts offer inexpensive parks and recreation programs; they often offer basic dog obedience courses. A basic dog obedience course is great for training and socializing your puppy or dog.
