More On Novartis Animal Health

In February 2012, Novartis warned veterinarians of a possible mixup of Clomicalm tablets.  Apparently they disclosed that incorrect tablets may be found in bottles of Clomicalm.  Clomicalm is an anti-anxiety medication for dogs.  Supposedly this affected 20 lots manufactured at the Novartis Animal Health Plant, in Lincoln, Nebraska.  These tablets are normally oblong in shape and speckled brown, if your tablets look different; report the problem.  I would report the issue to the FDA not Novartis.

The FDA(U.S. Food and Drug Administration) show that they have made several critical reports regarding manufacturing mishaps and failure to respond to consumer complaints at the Novartis Animal Health Plant.  The FDA clearly had a major role regarding the closure of this facility in Nebraska.
