Dogs In The Sporting Group

The Sussex Spaniel is a very old breed; and pretty much looks the same today as it did centuries ago.  The Sussex Spaniel has a very unique golden liver coat; its body is long, low, and massive.  Did you know the Sussex Spaniel was one of the original nine breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club?  The long hair around the ears on this breed should receive regular grooming; they are also droolers.  The Sussex Spaniel was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1884.
