Dogs In The Hound Group
The Borzoi is a graceful and elegant hunter; they hunt by sight. They have a long silky coat; which can be curly or flat. This breed was developed in Russia in the 17th century; they are a cross between an Arabian Greyhound and a heavy coated Russian breed. The Borzoi was recognized by the American Kennel Club 1891.
