Dogs In The Hound Group

The Bloodhound is a very old breed and it hunts by scent.  Coat colors range from black and tan, liver and tan and red; sometimes with white flecking.  Bloodhounds have been around a very long time; even before the Crusades in Europe.  This breed has been very useful in law enforcement in tracking individuals.  The Bloodhound was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1885.
