Dogs In The Hound Group

The Harrier is a scent hound.  This breed was developed in England to hunt hares in packs.  The Harrier is a smaller version of the English Foxhound; the Harrier also moves at a slower pace allowing individuals to follow them on foot.  The Harrier was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1885.
